Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a locally and sustainably sourced session soda (say that 5x over) …with a healthy twist, that tastes bloody good.

At left&ripe we intentionally craft our session sodas to help minimise food waste and Scope 3 GHG emissions. We do this by utilising wonky or excess fruit and by intentionally choosing our ingredients so that they can be sourced locally.

Co-founders, proud Kiwis & best mates, Sam and Ben noticed that the alcoholic RTD market in the UK and Europe was lacking when it came to quality, genuine products that consumers could connect with. We wanted a story to hear. We wanted a brand that was different to the rest. We wanted a healthier alternative to beer. We wanted a product that was tasty and refreshing and we wanted to be able to enjoy it anywhere - not just at the pub. That’s when left&ripe was born.

Approximately 40% of all fruit and veg is thrown away because it looks ugly?! That is a lot of wasted wonkiness. In our session sodas we accept the oddballs and utilise what’s left.
